  • The XBloom Studio puts a grinder, brewer and scale into one machine, finished in Midnight Black. Three modes cover however you want to brew: Autopilot for fully automated brewing, Copilot for custom recipes built in the app, and Freesolo for manual control of each module on its own.

At the centre of it is a 48mm stainless steel conical burr grinder with 80 grind settings and adjustable RPM, fine enough for espresso and coarse enough for cold brew. The brewer heats water instantly from 40°C to 98°C and pours in three patterns: centre, spiral or circular. The integrated scale reads to 0.1g up to 1kg, so dosing and recipe development stay precise. Connect over Bluetooth to the XBloom app for real-time brew monitoring, recipe building and hundreds of roaster-developed profiles.

The magnetic dosing cup fits 58mm portafilters for espresso, and the built-in ioniser keeps static and mess off your counter. It has a compact footprint of 170mm x 204mm and a 946ml tank, good for around three brews before a refill, or plumb it straight into your water supply for brewing without limits. Comes with the Omni Dripper 2 and works with standard Kalita 155 filters.

  • Can I use my own coffee beans with the XBloom Studio?

Yes. The XBloom Studio works with any whole bean coffee. Use Copilot mode to create custom recipes tailored to your beans, or start with the default recipe and adjust grind size, temperature, and pour pattern to taste. The 80 grind settings and precise temperature control make it easy to dial in your favourite roasts.

What's the difference between Autopilot, Copilot, and Freesolo modes?

Autopilot mode is fully automated brewing using XBloom's xPod capsules, which contain roaster-specific recipes transmitted via NFC. Copilot mode lets you use your own beans whilst creating and saving custom recipes through the app. Freesolo mode allows you to operate the grinder, brewer, and scale independently for complete manual control.

Do I need to use the XBloom app to operate the machine?

No. The XBloom Studio operates entirely without the app, using its LED display and tactile control knobs. The app does unlock additional functionality including real-time brew monitoring, recipe creation and sharing, access to roaster-developed profiles, and detailed brew analysis tools.

Can I plumb the XBloom Studio into my water supply?

Yes. The XBloom Studio features an internal pump that allows connection to an external water source using 1/4" OD tubing. For non-pressurised sources like a water jug, you can attach tubing up to 19 inches long directly to the machine. For pressurised water supplies, XBloom recommends using their Water Inline Pressure Regulator accessory.

What filters are compatible with the XBloom Studio?

The included Omni Dripper 2 is compatible with XBloom Premium Paper Filters or standard 155 filter paper (Ø155mm / Kalita 155). The dripper features a flat-bottom design and can brew doses from 5 to 18 grams of coffee.

Can I use the grinder for espresso or other brew methods?

Yes. The 48mm conical burr grinder offers 80 grind settings ranging from espresso-fine to cold brew-coarse. In Freesolo mode you can use the grinder independently for any brewing method. The magnetic dosing cup fits 58mm portafilters for espresso prep. You can also grind for French press, V60, Chemex, AeroPress, or any other manual brewing method.

How accurate is the built-in scale?

The integrated scale is accurate to 0.1g when weighing up to 1000g, and to 1g for weights up to 2000g. It features a high-precision solid-liquid detection sensor and displays measurements in grams, ounces, or millilitres. The scale can also be used independently for dosing beans or measuring output when using other brewing equipment.

How many cups can I brew before refilling the water tank?

The 946ml water tank provides approximately three pour-over brews before requiring a refill. If you plumb the machine into a water supply, you can brew without interruption. The tank is easily removable for filling at your tap or from a filtered water pitcher.

What temperature range does the XBloom Studio offer?

The brewer heats water from 40°C to 98°C in precise 1°C increments, with additional settings for room temperature and boiling point. The instant heating system uses nano-film metal tube technology and heats only the exact amount of water required for each pour, so temperature stays consistent throughout the brew.

What warranty comes with the XBloom Studio?

The XBloom Studio comes with a 1 year manufacturer warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship, or 2000 coffee brews, whichever comes first. For warranty support, contact XBloom directly at support@xbloom.com.
