The Festive Duo brings them both together in one handy package, with a cheeky little Christmas saving compared to buying them individually.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt’s traditional in Sweden and across the Nordic countries for roasters to release a special coffee each festive season, known as julkaffe, or Christmas coffee. We loved the idea, so we pair our annual Christmas blend with a single origin that deserves a place at the Christmas table, too.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch4\u003e\n\u003cstrong\u003e\u003c\/strong\u003ePack contents\u003c\/h4\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe Festive Duo includes one 220g bag of our 2026 Festive Blend and one 220g bag of our Festive Single Origin from Yukro, Ethiopia. This is a one-off purchase, not a subscription.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch4\u003eFestive Blend\u003c\/h4\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eBringing together some of our favourite festive choccies, this year’s Festive Blend is a mug full of dark caramel swirling through creamy milk chocolate, finished with a flourish of hazelnut praline. Sweet and easy drinking, it’s the kind of coffee that feels right at home on a slow Christmas morning, after a big festive lunch or whenever there’s another good excuse to put the kettle on.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eHalf of it comes from the Martinez family’s Finca Argentina in El Salvador, who we’ve been buying from since 2008. The rest is a washed Caturra from San Patricio El Limón in Guatemala and a pulped natural from smallholders in Matas de Minas, Brazil.\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch4\u003eFestive Single Origin: Yukro, Ethiopia\u003c\/h4\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eSweet lemon, passionfruit and dried apricot, with a subtle note of malted milk biscuit on the finish. It’s a lively counterpoint to the chocolatey sweetness of our Festive Blend.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eYukro’s an old favourite. We first discovered it in 2020, tasting our way through coffees from Telila washing station in Jimma, south-west Ethiopia. This little community’s coffee stood out enough for us to return to it over several harvests, before giving Genji Challa its turn last Christmas. We’re delighted to welcome Yukro back for 2026.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eGrown by smallholder farmers in Yukro kebele, the coffee is processed at Telila, a washing station owned by Mike Mamo. Telila keeps coffee from each kebele (roughly a village and its surrounding farms) separate, so every cherry in this lot comes from Yukro.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch4\u003eSupporting Felix\u003c\/h4\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis festive season, we’re supporting Felix, a charity tackling food waste and food insecurity across the UK. Felix rescues surplus food that would otherwise go to waste and gets it to community organisations supporting people in need.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWe’re donating 50p from every Festive Duo sold to Felix.
